Creating the Würth Electronics Product Chat

We are excited to report a new collaboration with our new client Würth Elektronik Group!

Würth Elektronik Group (WE) deals in over 100,000 different electronics components. Extensive information about these is spread over countless data sheets, user manuals, app notes, and other data sources e.g., for raw materials, product management, compatibility with third-party products or standard designs. Various AI-enabled solutions to navigate these data already exist in isolation in different parts of the business process.

LangTec’s task is to create the WE Product Chat API: a robust and scalable API and data orchestration layer that integrates all available product information and provides modular, well-documented endpoints for consumption by chat applications.

The objective of this collaboration is the implementation of a smart digital assistant for employees to retrieve relevant product data, technical specs and documentation, perform intelligent search with filtering and alternative suggestions, access inventory or availability data, all using intuitive natural language interaction on a comprehensive, reliable and up-to-date data basis.
