We are looking for:
- A Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) for exciting projects in software development.
The core duties of the position include:
- the development of innovative software solutions in Python and Java with a focus on big data
- the design, setup and operation of cloud architectures
- the development of robust solutions for the intelligent analysis of text data
- the targeted aggregation of information from a wide variety of data sources such as databases, file systems or data streams
- the creation and quality assurance of software documentation and presentations
Desired qualifications:
- Several years of sound experience in software development and software architecture
- Practical experience in the cloud environment (e.g. AWS, Azure or Google Cloud)
- Extensive experience in software development in Python and Java and ideally other programming languages
- Additional knowledge of Java, Perl or Bash is desirable
- Hands-on experience in the development of web services
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Linux and open source environment
- Applied experience with version control systems such as Git
- Basic knowledge of machine learning
- Nice to have: Enthusiasm for language
- Ideally a degree in computer science, a natural science or computational linguistics
- Native fluency in written and spoken German
- Good to very good written and spoken English skills
- Reliability and professionalism in handling
