AI-Based Document Processing: LangTec Further Automates Shipping Logistics

LangTec expands further into the shipping industry! As previously announced, our new AI-powered automation project is helping a world-renowned global shipping and logistics company in Hamburg increase the efficiency of their booking process by automating the receipt of shipping documents using a customized instance of DocumentReader.

We closed last year having already exceeded the targets of our first milestone, beating production accuracy and speed months ahead of schedule! At the beginning of the new year, we were proud to be able to provide our customer with a cloud-based parser instance for stress tests. They are already enthusiastic about the parsing quality in their new, simplified booking process and the user-friendliness.

With regard to the upcoming productive deployment, we are concentrating on completing the MVP implementation in order to ensure stability in productive operation. The challenge? Maintaining our high extraction accuracy while expanding AI capabilities to process a wider range of document variations and meet non-functional SLAs.
